COLERAIN TWP, Ohio (WKRC) - It was a dog's life at Cincinnati Natural Foods on Saturday.
The store held its annual adopt-a-pet event. SPCA Cincinnati had its mobile adoption unit at the store from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., hoping to find a forever family for each dog.
"It's a tearful event, actually," said store manager Cindy DeFelice. "We just love to see the dogs go home with somebody because most of them have really sad stories. So anytime a dog gets adopted we are so happy. We applaud."
Cincinnati Natural Foods holds adoption events a couple times a year, starting them in 2006.
