A man is facing murder charges after police say he fatally shot his brother in Cheviot Monday night.
Cheviot police said Kurtis Hodge, 33, shot his brother Kenneth Hodge, 32, multiple times.
Officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 3800 block of Ruth Lane following reports of a person shot.
Cheviot police said they found the apartment door unlocked and Kenneth Hodge alone inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to officials, Kenneth Hodge was rushed to Mercy Health West Hospital in Green Township, where he died after 8 p.m. Monday.
The Cheviot Police Department said Kurtis Hodge is currently in custody
