Comedian Dave Chappelle will be in Cincinnati next month to hold a screening for his latest documentary and arena tour.
The "Untitled" documentary follows Chappelle during the COVID-19 pandemic and after the murder of George Floyd as he "provides the community he calls home with two things desperately needed in difficult times – economic and comic relief," according to Tribeca Film Festival.
The documentary was directed by Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert.
The documentary began as an experimental socially distanced live comedy show filmed in a neighbor's cornfield and grew into an "unforgettable" summer with neighbors, friends and comedians. Chappelle lives in Yellow Springs, a small village outside of Dayton.

The documentary screening will be Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Bank Center. Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The Cincinnati screening follows recent controversy involving Chappelle.
On Oct. 20, hundreds of Netflix employees staged a walkout following protests over Chappelle's latest Netflix comedy special "The Closer," where the comedian commented on the transgender community.

He doubled down on transphobic jokes during the special, weighing in on comments J.K. Rowling made in December 2019. The "Harry Potter" author conflated sex with gender and defended ideas suggesting that changing one's biological sex was a threat to her own gender identity.
"They canceled J.K. Rowling – my God," Chappelle said. "Effectually she said gender was a fact, the trans community got mad as (expletive), they started calling her a TERF. I'm Team TERF. I agree. I agree, man. Gender is a fact."
No cell phones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at the show, and anyone caught with a phone in the venue will be immediately ejected, per Heritage Bank Center's website. Attendees will secure all phones and smart watches in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show.
