ESPN's late, Los Angeles edition of the SportsCenter might not have gotten the name of Brandon Vazquez's club correct (it's FC Cincinnati, not "Cincinnati FC" as anchor Neil Everett stated), but they correctly identified Vazquez's latest goal as a skillful one.
So skillful was Vazquez's 36th minute goal Wednesday against Chicago Fire FC that SportsCenter placed it at No. 2 in its Top 10 plays countdown.

Off a long ball from Ronald Matarrita, Vazquez took two touches – one to corral Matarrita's pass and one to push it past the Chicago Fire FC goalkeeper – in scoring one of the classiest goals of his professional career.
The Vazquez goal completed a comeback from a 2-0 deficit, but FC Cincinnati would need another comeback after it faced a 3-2 deficit.
Ultimately, FC Cincinnati ran out of time and was unable to keep pace with the Fire, which won, 4-3, in stunning fashion.
“Disappointed.I thought we played great, we fought until the last minute I felt like we deserved it, so it hurts seeing the results being what it was," Vazquez said. "Their first two goals were quick and unexpected so it was frustrating, but we had time and we came back quickly. That shows the character that this team has and that's massive. We just need to keep doing that every single game.”
