A new Cuban restaurant is opening in downtown Cincinnati.
Latin House, a Cuban restaurant run by Chef Ramon Alfonso and his wife, Michelle Alfonso, officially opens Tuesday.
The concept first started as a food truck, but Alfonso, who was formerly a chef in Miami, decided to plant roots in Cincinnati where Michelle is from, according to Latin House's website.
Latin House was slated to open earlier this year, but the restaurant posted in July that unforeseen circumstances involving renovations had pushed the opening date back.
Menu items include empanadas, croquette platters, potato balls, breakfast Cuban burritos and the breakfast Havana special.
Once open, hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Latin House plans to add dinner hours in the future.
