A wedding ceremony in Butler County was unexpectedly put on pause after a fire started at the venue Sunday.People who attended the ceremony at Hanover Reserve said they were stunned when a fireplace exploded, putting a special moment on pause. The fire started around 5 p.m. when someone lit the fire inside in a propane fireplace, leading to an explosion and flames that raged out of the chimney.Numerous fire departments rushed to the scene, bringing tanker trucks full of water.But it was a tough battle for crews on scene lasting about five hours.It took more than 70 firefighters from several departments and 100,000 gallons of water to put out the flames. Flames have since rekindled twice overnight Monday. Crews are responding to put out the fire. Despite the flames - the couple still got married outside the building as fire ripped through the structure."They got married and they're doing OK. I think they left now. But they were shook, too. Disappointed," Ben Coblentz, who attended the wedding, said. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but we're told the building passed every test during four full inspections this year.The owner of the venue spoke with us briefly.She was in tears and devastated.She told us the venue has only been open since May and weddings are booked for the next two years. Now, businesses in Hamilton County are offering up their services for free or a discounted price to help couples who were supposed to have their wedding at the venue.Pinball Garage, a nearby video arcade, has offered its outdoor space for free for those couples who had already booked the space.The video arcade also posted numerous other businesses that are willing to help, such as dessert shops, photographers, caterers and DJs.
