Rescue crews are calling a 4-year-old a superhero after surviving a big fall at Red River Gorge. Wolfe County Search & Rescue Team said they were called around 2 p.m. on Friday after a little boy slipped away from his parents and "took a tumbling fall off of a cliff."They said in all, he fell 70 feet, striking multiple ledges along the way. The boy's father sprang to action, scrambling down the cliff face to reach his son, crews said, and once he reached him, he carried his son to a road — first crossing the Red River and a bridge.Crews connected with the boy and the father once he reached Highway 715.They said while the child was "certainly scraped up" and bruised, he appeared to be OK.According to the crews, the boy's survival was "nothing short of a miracle."
