The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Ross County overnight.
Tornado warnings were issued throughout the area late Friday night for Ross and Highland Counties.
Officials are still surveying the damage.
Severe thunderstorms moved into many parts of Central and Southeast Ohio Friday night into early Saturday morning. Forecasters warned Friday night that possible tornado activity could come with the storms.
The National Weather Service in Wilmington also believes tornadoes were also responsible for damage in Highland County.
