With that clash of seasons, we’ll get rain and some storms. The strength of those storms, however, will depend on how unstable our air gets this afternoon: If we see sunshine after lunchtime, the storms in the evening will be strong. If it’s a gloomy, drizzly afternoon, that actually makes the storms in the evening less intense.We’re getting wet no matter what, but whether we'll see severe storms is still kind of a “wait and see” situation. While the entire Greater Cincinnati area has the threat for storms, the greatest risk area for severe weather will be near and southeast of I-71. The time frame generally looks to be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rain and some thunder will continue overnight before ending near sunrise Saturday. Rain moves out as the sun comes up on Saturday. It will be breezy and much cooler. Winds gusting to 20 to 30 mph are possible into Saturday afternoon for the Bearcats game. Clouds will linger until the afternoon. Sunday will feature sunny skies. Lows Sunday morning hit the mid-40s and we'll see highs in the low 60s Sunday afternoon with lows Sunday night in the low 40s.Chilly fall is here, at last!
