Drivers need caution in several areas of the city this weekend, as some events planned Downtown and in Walnut Hills will cause street closures.
People are reminded to use caution around the event site and to use alternate routes if possible.
Redlegs Run road closures
The 20th annual CollegeAdvantage Redlegs Run is this Saturday. Mehring Way between Joe Nuxhall Way and Johnny Bench Way will close at 5 a.m. Saturday.
From 7:30 a.m. to about noon, the following streets will close to accommodate walkers and runners:
- Mehring Way between West Pete Rose Way and East Pete Rose Way.
- West Pete Rose Way eastbound between Gest Street and Central Avenue.
- Central Avenue between West Pete Rose Way and Mehring Way.
- Elm Street south of Freedom Way.
- Joe Nuxhall Way.
- Ramp LL.
- Johnny Bench Way.
- Broadway south of Third Street.
- Taylor Southgate Bridge.
- East Pete Rose Way eastbound between Johnny Bench Way and Eggleston Avenue.
- Riverside Drive eastbound between Eggleston Avenue and the Rookwood overpass.
- Bains Street.
- Eggleston Avenue southbound, south of Third Street.

Holy Name Processional road closures
The Holy Name Processional will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday. While no streets will see long-term closures, traffic will be held along the route to allow the Processional to pass safely through the area. The route, on which traffic will be held, is as follows:
- Start at City Hall, 801 Plum St.
- West on Eighth Street to Central Avenue.
- North on Central Avenue to Fourteenth Street.
- East on Fourteenth Street to Elm Street.
- North on Elm Street to McMicken Street (The Processional on Elm will be restricted to the west side of the street only to avoid the streetcar tracks.)
- East on McMicken Street to Vine Street.
- South on Vine Street to Thirteenth Street.
- East on Thirteenth Street to the end at Old St. Mary’s Church.
Peebles 5K road closures
The inaugural Peebles 5K race from the Walnut Hills Business Group will be Sunday. The following streets will close starting at 7:30 a.m. and will remain closed until around noon:
- McMillan Street - eastbound closed between Gilbert Avenue and Kemper Lane.
- Kemper Lane - closed between McMillan Street and Francis Lane.
- Francis Lane - southbound closed between Victory Parkway and Kemper Lane.
- Victory Parkway - northbound closed between Eden Park Drive and Francis Lane.
- Eden Park Drive - northbound closed between Martin Drive and Victory Parkway.
- Eden Park Drive - closed between Martin Drive and Art Museum Drive.
- Martin Drive - northbound closed between Parkside Place and Eden Park Drive.
- Fulton Avenue - southbound closed between Windsor Street and Eden Park Drive.
- Windsor Street - closed between St. James Avenue and Gilbert Avenue.

Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure road closures
This year's Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure will be held Sunday. The following streets will close at 8:30 a.m. and remain closed until around noon Sunday:
- Mehring Way - closed between Central Avenue and East Pete Rose Way.
- Elm Street - closed south of Freedom Way.
- Joe Nuxhall Way - closed.
- Ramp LL - closed.
- Johnny Bench Way - closed.
- East Pete Rose Way - eastbound closed between Johnny Bench Way and Eggleston Avenue.
- Riverside Drive - eastbound closed between Eggleston Avenue and Bains Street.
