The annual USA TODAY Sports database of college football head coach salaries again sees the University of Alabama's Nick Saban atop the list, making more than $9.7 million.
University of Cincinnati football head coach Luke Fickell ranks No. 45 with $3.4 million, which puts him ahead of several of his "Power Five" counterparts.
Ohio State University head coach Ryan Day ranks No. 9 with a salary of more than $6.6 million.
Coaches of regional relevance making less than Fickell in the University of Louisville's Scott Satterfield (No. 48), West Virginia University's Neal Brown (No. 52), Notre Dame's Brian Kelly (No. 60) and Miami University's Chuck Martin (No. 114).
