Over the weekend, passengers around the country scrambled as Southwest Airlines, the nation's largest domestic airline, had two days of mass flight cancellations.
What does that mean for Southwest flights at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport?
The U.S. airports with the heaviest flight cancellations for departures and arrivals Sunday were all big Southwest “hubs,” even if the airline doesn't refer to them as such: Denver, Baltimore, Dallas Love Field, Las Vegas and Chicago Midway.

According to CVG's flight status schedule for Monday, flights are mostly departing the airport on time, including Southwest flights.
There have been a few delays as of 7:30 a.m: A Southwest flight heading to Baltimore that departed at 6:12 a.m. instead of the scheduled 6 a.m. Another flight, Southwest flight 599 heading to Houston, has been delayed from an original takeoff time of 7:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
Only one CVG flight has been canceled, so far: United flight 4655 heading to Chicago O'Hare, scheduled to depart at 2 p.m.
All other Southwest flights departing from CVG are currently listed as on time, according to the airport's schedule.
Southwest arrivals to CVG Monday are mainly on time, except for Southwest flight 4962 from Orlando that will now be landing at 9:50 p.m. instead of the scheduled 9 p.m.
In a statement and video message late Sunday night, Southwest's longtime operations chief and new president Mike Van de Ven thanked Southwest employees for their "heroic efforts'' to help travelers and said that Southwest's operations "seem to be on track for a reset so that Monday is more normal.''
