Dense fog advisory in place until 10 a.m.

Many of the buildings in downtown Cincinnati were hidden by the heavy fog Wednesday morning, March 17, 2021. Though clouds would stick around most of the day for St. Patrick's Day, the temperatures were in the high 60's.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory Tuesday morning, in place until 10 a.m.

According to the advisory, portions of Southeast Indiana, Northeast and Northern Kentucky and South Central and Southwest Ohio are affected with visibility of one-quarter mile or less in dense fog.

It will impact driving conditions due to low visibility, and the NWS is asking drivers to take extra precautions, including slowing down, using headlights and leaving plenty of distance ahead of vehicles.
