The Cincinnati Bengals' first four possessions of Thursday night's game resulted in a missed field goal and three punts, but they finally got a big defensive highlight near the end of the first half with a goal-line stand as Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence attempted to get into the end zone on fourth down and failed.

The stop by Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson and others prevented the Jags from taking a three-touchdown lead into the locker room at halftime. It was a huge defensive stand given that the Bengals outscored Jacksonville 24-7 in the second half to win 24-21.
"I will tell you that those are hits you don't want your quarterback taking either. That was a big-time hit that Lawrence took," NFL Network analyst Troy Aikman said during the broadcast.
