The Bearcats will inevitably go on a run at some point, though. They're bound to find their footing at some point after last playing on Dec. 22
• 11:14 to play, first half – Tulsa Golden Hurricanes 17, Bearcats 7: UC is laboring to keep pace with Tulsa early. The Bearcats went without a field goal in this most recent segment of the game and haven't scored in 2:11. UC's now shooting 15 percent (2-of-13).
• 15:18 to play, first half – Tulsa Golden Hurricanes 10, Bearcats 5: Not surprisingly, UC got off to a slow start after a 10-day layoff from competitive actions. The Bearcats didn't get their first bucket of the contest until the 16:24 mark in the period and went 2-of-9 shooting to open the game. No significant damage was done, although Tulsa is shooting better than 60 percent early on.
