Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend inside Reading home


A woman is accused of stabbing her 62-year-old boyfriend inside of a Reading, Ohio, home. It happened around 1:20 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Pike Street. That's where police say Ingrid Johnson, 44, stabbed Randall Sims, 62, multiple times. According to officials with the Reading Police Department, Sims walked into the foyer of the Reading Police Department with multiple lacerations to his face and neck. He was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition. Sims told authorities that his girlfriend stabbed in during an argument, grabbing a nearby knife and cutting him multiple times. Authorities say they found Johnson in an alleyway behind the house and took her into custody for questioning. Police say Johnson admitted to stabbing Simms. Johnson also had minor injuries, police said, and she was also taken to the hospital to be evaluated. Johnson has been charged with felonious assault and is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
