St. Xavier, Wyoming top state media poll

After defeating Elder 52-14 last Friday night, St. Xavier High School (6-0) tops the Division I state football poll as determined by the Ohio Prep Sportswriter's Association. Wyoming (also 6-0) tops DIV competition.

Back in Division I, Lakota West passed Moeller with the Firebirds at No. 8 and the Crusaders No. 9.

In Divisions II and III, respectively, Kings and Badin are No. 2 with both receiving first-place votes. La Salle is at No. 5 in Division II even with their recent loss to DI Moeller. Ross is at No. 9 in DIII.

Behind top-ranked Wyoming in DIV is McNicholas at No. 5 and Clinton-Massie at No. 7. In Division V, 5-1 Mariemont is at No. 10.
