A woman was arrested and another woman was injured Saturday after a shooting and robbery in Florence.It happened around 6:28 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a robbery at Charleston Pines Apartments.Shortly after that, officers also responded to a report of a woman suffering from a gunshot wound at St. Elizabeth Hospital.Police were later able to link the two incidents.After an investigation, detectives from the Florence Police Department discovered that a man who lived at the complex hired two female escorts to come to his apartment.While they were inside, police said an altercation took place. During the altercation, one of the escorts pulled out a gun and shot at the man but ended up hitting the other escort.The shooter drove the wounded woman to the hospital. She was later flown to UC Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are non-life-threatening, police said.The suspect was taken to Boone County Jail where she was charged with robbery, assault and wanton endangerment.The other people involved face charges of prostitution, police said.
