TIMELINE: Round of wet and possibly wintry weather moves in during Tuesday morning commute
LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS WEATHER HERE. I’M SURE IT COULD BE DICEY TOMORROW. MIKE: MEDIA THERE ALLISON ROGERS IS IN RIGHT NOW, JUST THE MESSENGER. ALLISO AS WE WAKE UP TOMORROW, WE HAVE SOME RAIN MOVING IN. SOME OF US, YOU ALSO HAVE A CHANCE OF SEEING A WINTRY MIX IN THE MORNING. THIS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE HEART OF THE MORNING COMMUTE. SOMETHING DEFINITELY TO BE AWARE OF. OUTSIDE WE ARE SEEING SOME CLOUD COVER, BUT GENERALLY DRY. TEMPERATURES ARE STILL IN THE UPPER 30’S IN SOME AREAS, NORTHERN KENTUCKY, WHERE I AM LOOKING AT SEEING POTENTIALLY MORE RAIN. NORTH OF THE RIVER AND EVEN ALONG THE RIVER, YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE TO SEE A WINTRY MIX THROUGH THE MORNING TOMORROW. OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS, THE SYSTEM IS MOVING IN FROM THE WEST. FIRST IMPACTING INDIANA COMMUNITIES 4:30, 5:00 IN THE MORNING. A VERY WET SNOW, IF NOT A LITTLE SLEET. BY 7:00 IN THE MORNING, THE METRO STILL DEALING WITH THIS AT THIS POINT AND PUSHING TO THE EAST AS WELL. THIS IS IMPACTING AREAS THROUGHOUT OHIO. NOTICE WE HAVE MORE BLUE AND PINK SHOWI UP THROUGH AREAS AROUND THE 275 LOOP. THE FARTHER NORTH YOU LIVE, THE BETTER CHANCE OF WINTRY WEATHER TOMORROW. I STILL THINK THERE IS A CHANCE OF SEEING THE WINTRY MIX MIXING IN. GENERALLY JUST RAINFALL IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY FOR THE MORNING. IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO THE 275 LOOP, KEEP I MIND YOU ARE IN THE AREA WHERE YOU CAN SEE MORE OF A WINTRY MIX TOMORROW MORNING. BY 9:00, STARTING TO MOVE OUT AND EAST OF DOWNTOWN, STILL IMPACTING SOME AREAS, BUT DRYING OUT BY 10:00 OR 11:00 IN THE MORNING. THROUGH THE REST OF THE DAY TOMORROW, WE WILL BE DRY BUT CLOUDY. SUNSHINE, VERY SHORT-LIVED. I THINK WHEN WE GET TO TOMORROW AFTERNOON, IT IS CLOUDY FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THE CLOUD COVER TOMORROW ALSO KEEPING TEMPERATURES ONLY IN THE UPPER 30’S DURING THE AFTERNOON. A COUPLE THINGS TO BE AWARE OF FOR YOUR MORNING COMMUTE, WATCH OUT FOR ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS. WHILE I EXPECT THINGS TO BE OK, CAN’T RULE OUT THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS. WATCH OUT FOR REDUCED VISIBILITY , ESPECIALLY THE FARTHER NORTH YOU LIVE. WE DO GET MORE SNOW, NOT SO MUCH RAIN, AND COULD GET MORE REDUCED VISIBILITY INTO THE AFTERNOON, MAINLY WET ON THE ROADS AND I EXPECT THINGS TO DRY OUT PRETTY QUICKLY. BY TOMORROW NIGHT, STAYING DRY TO HIGHLIGHT AREAS SEEING MOSTLY RAINFALL, GENERALLY TO 75 AND SOUTH. NORTH OF THAT, A BETTER CHANCE OF SEEING RAIN AND SNOW MIX. TEMPERATURE RISE TOMORROW, RIGHT AROUND 34 BY 9:00 IN THE MORNING. AS PRECIPITATION WRAPS UP BY NOON, 36 OUTSIDE, 38 FOR THE HIGH TEMPERATURE, TYPICAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. ACTUALLY TEMPERATURES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS ARE GOING TO STAY UPPER 30’S IN THE AFTERNOON. TONIGHT A LOW AROUND 30 DEGREES, LOW 30’S FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL NIGHTS
