

Cincinnati police have made an arrest in the first homicide of 2021.
Jahman Akins, 28, has been arrested in a shooting that left Kevin Suttles, 38, dead Tuesday afternoon at a barbershop on Brookcrest Drive in Roselawn.
Akins was arrested Tuesday at 10:15 p.m. He was wearing a hospital gown when he was arrested Tuesday night, according to police records.
Akins' address in a Tuesday court filing is listed as Toulon Drive in Springfield Township.
The investigation began when police responded to a 911 call to Brookcrest Drive about 3 p.m. Tuesday. They found a man shot multiple times in the head.
Police said another shooting victim was found at a nearby hospital, but it was not known at the time if the incidents were related.
Police released a suspect description after the shooting and said they were searching for two vehicles, including one that was seen dropping a victim off at Jewish Hospital.
No information on the second shooting victim was provided.
