The pandemic is colliding with the Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week once again.Restaurant owners are hoping for a big boost in sales, while also dealing with the reality of food and staffing shortages.With over 40 participating restaurants, this week gives people the chance to get out of the house and experience 3-course meals at amazing prices. Here are the 40+ restaurants offering three-course prix fixe menusThis year, $1 from every meal will be going directly to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Cincinnati Citybeat will match the first 1,000 meals.Libby’s Southern Comfort in Covington is one of the restaurants participating. This week’s special menu includes Guetta hushpuppies, fried chicken, oysters and more. On top of the pandemic, owner Brad Wainscott says business typically slows down during the fall as kids head back to school, but restaurant week will bring an up to 30% increase in sales “You have to come up with a niche, roll with the pushes, come up with new ideas.
