Jamie Fitzgerald has been found in the rubble of a collapsed power plant in Adams County a month after he was trapped, officials announced Friday.
The Adamo Group, the contractor demolishing the decommissioned power plant, said 47-year-old Fitzgerald has been located at the Killen Generating Station site and crews are currently working to safely recover him.
Fitzgerald and two others were trapped on Dec. 9 when the roof of the main building at the Killen Generating Station collapsed. Another two people were hospitalized.
One of the missing workers was rescued and hospitalized later that day. Doug Gray, 42, was recovered Dec. 12.
The Adamo Group listed Fitzgerald as a deceased employee since Dec. 14.
