Mason City Schools released information this evening that a third grade elementary school student died unexpectedly Saturday morning.The school said JJ Day was described as a great friend and loved the color blue, loved soccer and adored his older sisters. Mason City Schools will have additional counselors and Cincinnati Childrens' clinical therapists at all the schools Monday.The school district is encouraging everyone in the community to wear blue in support of JJ Day and his family.
