A former football coach, who led Newport Central Catholic for more than 40 years, has died at 82 years old. Bob Schneider had a lifetime record of 345-183-2.He also had three state championships -- in 1984, 2005 and 2006 -- with Newport Central Catholic.Schneider taught English, and served as assistant principal for two decades.
