Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker went on the injured list about one month ago. The Reds' record in Winker's absence was 12-16.
So suffice it to say there was excitement Friday from Reds' Twitter with the announcement that Winker was done with a rehab assignment, returning to the big-league team and slated to bat second in the Reds' lineup for Friday's series opener with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
