Joe Burrow is past the arduous portion of his left knee rehabilitation process, but the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback admitted he’s at the beginning stage of a long road.
“It feels good,” Burrow said of his surgically repaired left knee. “Obviously, it's not 100% or even close, but for where I'm at, it feels pretty good.”
Burrow revealed that his surgically repaired knee is currently at about 15%.
“I haven't started running or doing anything like that,” Burrow said. “I just started body weight squats, so we've got a long way to go.”
Burrow had surgery on Dec. 2. The procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache of Kerlan-Jobe in Los Angeles. The quarterback spent the first few weeks post operation in L.A. before he traveled back to Cincinnati on Sunday to continue his rehab.
