Democrats are pushing back on Mount Lookout Republican Tom Brinkman's anti-corruption charter amendment.
The state lawmaker, who's running for Cincinnati City Council this fall, never envisioned being the face of a ballot initiative. But late last year, amid corruption and scandal at City Hall, Brinkman decided to do something.
"In so much in life, you just got to get off your dead ass and get to work," Brinkman told The Enquirer's "That's So Cincinnati" podcast. "Anybody could've done this."
