An on-duty Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy was involved in a crash in Anderson Township Thursday.According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at 7350 Beechmont Ave. just before 8 p.m.The deputy who was assigned to Anderson Township was driving a marked Hamilton County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle west on Beechmont Avenue in an attempt to catch up to a vehicle that the deputy noticed had been driving recklessly.Meanwhile, a 42-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Jeep Wrangler south in an entry/exit drive for the Five Mile Center. As the woman entered Beechmont Avenue, her vehicle collided with the deputy's patrol vehicle.The sheriff's office said the woman's vehicle was not the one that the deputy had seen that was driving recklessly.The deputy and the woman both did not suffer any injuries in the crash.Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 513-825-1500.The sheriff's office is still investigating.
