A man is dead after a shooting inside a residence in Hamilton on Sunday.It happened around 12:50 p.m. when officers responded to the 400 block of Bingham Street for a report of a shooting.When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound near the house.The victim, identified as 35-year-old Jason Hendricks, was taken to Kettering Hamilton Hospital where he was pronounced dead.An investigation revealed Hendricks, along with a few other people, entered a house on Bingham Street where Hendricks exchanged gunfire with a resident who was inside.The other people who came with Hendricks fled the scene before officers arrived. The identity of the resident has not been released.Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Hamilton Police Department at 513-868-5811.
