The road to the 2023 Women’s College World Series begins Friday with the NCAA regionals, and there will be plenty of local softball talent taking the field.
Area colleges Northern Kentucky and Miami University each have four local players on the roster, but there are players scattered throughout the country, including on some of the nation’s top teams.

The regionals take place May 19-21 with the winning teams advancing to the super regionals May 25-28.
