Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick, who played last season for the Arizona Cardinals, is finalizing a deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according to multiple reports Monday night.

The Bengals are scheduled to welcome the Niners for a Week 14 game at Paul Brown Stadium on Dec. 12.
Kirkpatrick, 31, had three interceptions and 56 tackles in the 14 games in which he appeared for the Cardinals last season, including 11 starts. He signed a one-year deal with Arizona last August and became a free agent at the end of the season.
The Bengals released Kirkpatrick, their first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, in March 2020.
