Former Xavier University Musketeers forward Kaiser Gates signed with Hapoel Jerusalem on Wednesday.
Gates played with the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA Summer League last month after playing in 12 games for the G League's Long Island Nets last season. He has played parts of three seasons for three different G-League teams.

Gates will be a teammate of former Cincinnati Bearcats great Sean Kilpatrick, who signed last month with Hapoel Jerusalem.
Last January, Gates made a game-winning layup for the Maine Red Claws to beat the buzzer in triple overtime in an NBA G League game. Gates played for the Boston Celtics' affiliate in his second season in the G League after playing in 50 games for the Windy City Bulls the previous season.
Gates wasn't drafted after announcing in May 2018 that he'd forego his senior season at Xavier to play professionally. He averaged 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds as a junior at XU.
