The winners for the Freestore Foodbank Annual Rubber Duck Regatta have been announced.
Carrie Resnick, from Loveland, is the first prizewinner, winning a 2021 Honda HRV courtesy of Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers.
Additional prize winners include Elizabeth McAtee from Western Hills, who will receive $100 a week in Kroger groceries for a year. Five other prizewinners will receive $500 cash: Charles McMillan of Independence, Kentucky, Regina Daily of Ludlow, Kentucky, Laura Sutton of Montgomery, Darrel Brown of Goshen and Michael Mart of Cold Spring, Kentucky.
This year's Rubber Duck Regatta marks 27 years of the largest fundraising event for the Freestore Foodbank. Duck sales this year set a record, selling over 220,000 ducks.

The Freestore Foodbank provides meals for nearly 90,000 children in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana, according to a press release sent Sunday.
The Rubber Duck Regatta is the kick off event for Hunger Action Month here in Cincinnati. During September, Kroger customers can donate to the Zero Hunger, Zero Waste Foundation by rounding up to the nearest total at check out. Proceeds from the donations will go directly to the Freestore Foodbank in the Cincinnati Region.
