An intruder was shot and killed after he broke into a Mt. Healthy home and assaulted his ex-girlfriend who was inside, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said.It happened Sunday around 2:27 a.m. in the 7000 block of Park Avenue. Officials said Gregory Lyle, 33, entered through the window of the home and assaulted his ex-girlfriend who was inside. A man living in the house saw Lyle and shot him. Lyle was pronounced dead at the scene.Officials said the investigation is ongoing and there is no threat to the public.
