
Get ready for a cold and snowy winter around the Tristate area. Or at least, that's what the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting.
The 2022 version of the 230-year-old project is warning readers to prepare for a "season of shivers," with the winter bringing below-average temperatures across much of the U.S.
Janice Stillman, the almanac's editor, said this winter could "well be one of the longest and coldest that we've seen in years."
