A man who escaped from the Warren County Community Correctional Center turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies have been searching for Derrick M. Volz, 29, who escaped custody while being transported to a hospital on the night of Aug. 27.
He was incarcerated for felony possession of drugs through Clermont County, officials said in a release.
On Tuesday, Volz, with his attorney present, turned himself into the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
He has been booked into the Warren County Jail.
