In a vote that ended Jan. 22, Cincinnati.com readers selected winners for the Cincinnati Enquirer Athlete of the Week, presented by Mercy Health, for the Jan. 11-17 voting period.
Winners will receive a certificate, sent through the school's athletic department, after the end of the season.

This week's winners are:
Ohio winter team, boys: La Salle bowling – La Salle beat Elder 2972-2884 then took first in the GCL Quad meet, topping Elder, St. Xavier and Moeller Jan. 15.
Ohio winter team, girls: Hamilton bowling – The leaders of the GMC grabbed conference wins over Middletown and Fairfield.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys team: Campbell County basketball – The Camels beat Harrison County Jan. 15 to improve to 4-1.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls team:·Cooper basketball – The Jaguars upset last year’s Ninth Region runner-up Notre Dame 40-27 to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Ohio boys basketball player, big school: Austin Coldiron, Anderson – The senior center scored 27 points on 13-for-14 shooting and had 9 rebounds in a victory over Harrison on Jan. 16. Austin also had 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field (5-for-5 from the free throw line) and grabbed 6 rebounds in a win over Loveland on Jan. 15.
Ohio boys basketball player, small school: Sam Nunn, Ross – The senior guard had 15 points and eight steals in Ross’ 56-44 win over Talawanda Jan. 15.
Ohio girls basketball player, big school: Courtney Dean, Oak Hills – The junior guard had 18 points and eight rebounds in Oak Hills’ 58-44 win over Unioto Jan. 16.
Ohio girls basketball player, small school: Kaylen Crossty, Gamble Montessori – The senior forward had 21 points, five rebounds and three steals in the Gators’ 49-31 win over Finneytown Jan. 16.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball player: Donovan Robinson, Ryle - Through 5 games, the junior guard is averaging 20 PPG. In a 87-48 win over Nicholas County, Donovan set 2 schools records with most points in a game with 37 points as he made a school record with 10 three pointers. The Ryle Raiders are on a three-game win streak with victories over Central Kentucky, Nicholas County and Holmes.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball player: Marie Kiefer, Bishop Brossart – She scored 26 points and had 16 rebounds in the 59-22 win over Central Hardin Jan. 16. She also had 18 points in the win over Paris Jan. 11 and 14 in the win over Augusta Jan. 14.
Boys bowler: Alex Toelke, La Salle – He bowled a Greater Catholic League-South quad-high 491 (244, 247) in the Lancers’ win over Elder, Moeller and St. Xavier.
Girls bowler: Therese Suchoski, Ursuline – The junior led the Lions to a victory over MND on Thursday bowling a 321 overall. Therese was an asset to their win.
Ice hockey: Jacob "Veggie" Vegso, Northern Kentucky Norse - The Beechwood student tallied 3 goals and 4 assists this past weekend. They went 3-0 as a team beating the Owensboro Rampage once and Evansville twice in KHSHL play.
Boys swimmer/diver: Nathan Wall, St. Xavier – The senior won four events in the meet with Mason and Sycamore at the Keating Invitational – the 200 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke and 200 IM Jan. 17.
Girls swimmer/diver: Elizabeth Fager, Summit Country Day – She won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke in the 563-468 team loss to Roger Bacon.
Ohio boys wrestling: Luke Marsh, Lebanon – The junior, who has a 13-2 record with 8 pins on the season so far, won his 152-pound match by major decision 12-2 Jan. 16 at the Western Brown Hammer and Anvil Invitational to help Lebanon to a first-place team finish.
Ohio girls wrestling: Chloe Dearwester, Harrison – The freshman nationally-ranked wrestler has a 17-1 record including 4-0 on boys varsity. Ranked at No. 14, she pinned the nationally ranked #15 wrestler on Jan. 17 in the finals of the Heart of Ohio Tournament. Her only loss was 6-5 to No. 1 girl in the nation while wrestling up a weight class.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana wrestling: Jameson Smith, Ryle – He helped the Raiders beat defending state champion Union County, 35-30, by beating Gavin Ricketts of Union County 5-4 in the ultimate tiebreaker in the final match of the meet at 138 pounds.
