Northern Kentucky University is investigating after graffiti and materials from a white supremacist group were found on campus Wednesday, according to NKU's president.The graffiti was found on what happens to be Holocaust Remembrance Day.University president Dr. Ashish Vaidya issued a statement saying, "We are an inclusive community that celebrates diversity, equity and social justice. We thank the members of our campus community that alerted us to this incident."According to Vaidya, the white supremacist views run "counter to our core values and our commitment to equity and inclusion of diversity."The graffiti and materials found Wednesday are being investigated and reviewed by the university's new Bias Response Protocol Team.Vaidya said it's encouraged that students, staff or the general public continue to report future incidents to the Office of Inclusive Excellence or NKU police.
