Will Tuesday’s snowfall affect your high school sports activities?

Blue Ash city crews were out early to clear roads throughout the area, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021. This storm is expected to bring up to eight inches of snow, the most this area has seen in five years. Temperatures aren't expected to go above freezing today. And more snow is heading our way.

With Snowmageddon hitting the Tri-State Tuesday, many sporting events are or will be closed. The Enquirer will keep a running list of these closures here. Hamilton County roads were shut down this morning by Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey with the declaration of a Level 2 snow emergency.

McNicholas High School: OHSAA Girls’ Bowling Sectionals have been postponed until Friday. All other Athletics activities are NOT canceled; we will make a decision in the late morning.

Princeton: 7/8 Baseball Workouts scheduled for today after school are canceled. Academic Quiz Team vs.Lakota West postponed today moved to Thursday, Feb. 18

Kings: Athletic activities for today are canceled, including bowling matches vs. Loveland. 

St. Xavier: All athletic practices and events this afternoon are still TBD. We will make a decision & communicate later this morning.
