There's been a recent surge in the number of counties across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana approaching a high risk for community spread of COVID-19.Between Aug. 9 and Sunday, all of Ohio's counties except for three were listed as a "high" risk for the spread of COVID-19, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The three counties not in red were listed as a "substantial" risk.During that same time period in Kentucky, all but two counties were listed as a "high" risk for the spread of COVID-19.
