A mother and her daughter spent the weekend raising money with a special lemonade stand in Terrace Park. The stand -- at the Terrace Park Swim and Tennis Club -- raised money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.Part of a nationwide campaign, the stand was the first to happen in Ohio.Amy Boshell -- the event's organizer -- says she was inspired to host the event because of her own breast cancer journey.She's also hoping to work towards a cancer-free future for her 6-year-old daughter. "She had to watch me lose my hair, she had to see me sick and she had to understand what cancer was when she was 4 years old. But I also know in the back of my head that I carry that gene and there's a chance that she does too, so this is what we're going to do. Raising money to have more research, to get closer to a cure," Boshell said.Boshell and her daughter raised more than $5,000 dollars for the cause.
