Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor announced that starting quarterback Joe Burrow will not play in the Bengals' preseason game against Washington on Friday.

Burrow did not play in the Bengals' preseason opener against the Buccaneers in Tampa. During a televised sideline interview, Burrow had left open the possibility of playing in a preseason game.
Burrow suffered a season-ending injury against Washington last season.
