Western & Southern Open 2021: Brackets, television schedule announced

The draw for the 2021 Western & Southern Open is set. 

The tournament announced pairings Friday night with qualifying play set to start Saturday. 

In the women's singles draw, the top four seeds are Ashleigh Barty (1), Naomi Osaka (2), Aryna Sabalenka (3) and Elina Svitolina (4). 

Karolina Pliskova is seeded fifth, Iga Swiatek is sixth, Bianca Andreescu is seventh and Garbine Muguruza is eighth. 

Madeira's Caty McNally is in the top half of the draw and will face Dayana Yastremska in the round of 64. 

In the men's singles draw, the top four seeds are former W&S Open champion Daniil Medvedev (1), Stefanos Tsitsipas (2), Alexander Zverev (3) and Andrey Rublev (4). 

Italian Matteo Berrettini is seeded fifth, Denis Shapovalov is sixth, Pablo Carreno Busta is seventh and Casper Ruud is eighth.
