The Enquirer is proud to announce Kelsey Conway will be the beat reporter covering the Cincinnati Bengals.
Conway, entering her eighth season covering the National Football League, is returning to Cincinnati after previously working for the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens. The 29-year-old Arlington, Texas, native grew up in Laurel, Maryland and is a University of Cincinnati alumna.
While at UC, Conway was a four-year scholar athlete and two-time captain of the Lacrosse team. She graduated from UC in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a minor in electronic media.
"We’re very excited to bring Kelsey back to Cincinnati," said executive editor Beryl Love. "Her passion, not only for covering the NFL but for our region as a whole, makes her the ideal choice to be The Enquirer’s lead Bengals reporter. Our readers are in for a treat."
As a team reporter for the Falcons, Conway covered Super Bowl LI and also was a two-time nominee for the Southeast Emmys. She takes over the beat from Tyler Dragon, who now covers the NFL for USA TODAY Sports and will still contribute to some coverage of the Bengals.
"I will bring the loyal Cincinnati fans and Enquirer readers closer to your favorite team," Conway said about what fans can expect from her coverage. "With my extensive daily coverage of the latest news, behind-the-scenes profiles of their favorite players, Bengals fans will feel a strong connection throughout the season. My passion for connecting fans to their favorite athletes through storytelling drives me every day. I am excited to be a part of a city where the fans’ passion for their pro teams is unmatched."
