One person is dead and several others are injured after multiple separate shootings across Cincinnati overnight Thursday. In the past two days, at least nine people have been shot in the city. On Thursday, five people were shot and one was killed in a span of less than 12 hours.It started around 5:30 p.m. when a man was shot in the face inside a Walnut Hills McDonald's restaurant, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.Another shooting was reported on Forest Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Police said the victim is expected to be OK.A third shooting was reported on Vine Street around 10:30 p.m. One person was shot and is expected to be OK. Then around 11:43 p.m., police responded to a report of a person shot on Craft Street. Responding officers located a victim who was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.Shortly after, officers were notified of a second shooting victim who was driven by someone to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The victim, later identified as Kyran Reese, 19, was pronounced dead at the hospital. dies from his injuries. A fifth shooting victim later showed up at Christ Hospital around 12:15 a.m. Police said he was taken to UC Medical Center for treatment. They believe he was shot along Derrick Turnbow Avenue.
