WALTON, Ky. — The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Walton man on charges related to distribution and possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Randy S. Duke, 40, was arrested Friday for sharing more than 3,000 images of child pornography.
Duke was identified through a file-sharing network by an undercover computer operated by the Campbell County Police Department.
When Boone County deputies arrived at his Walton home, Duke attempted to conceal his electronic equipment.
He later admitted to authorities that he uses software to download, distribute and view images of young girls in various states of undress.
Duke is now lodged in the Boone County Detention Center on a $200,000 cash bond.
