Cougars add Thursday game vs. WKU

The No. 6 University of Houston Cougars weren't scheduled to play again until Sunday (Feb. 28) after they improved to 18-3 this season with their 90-52 rout of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats at the Fertitta Center.

On Sunday, UH added a non-conference home game Thursday night against the 15-4 Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers, to be televised on ESPN2.

According to wkusports.com, the teams last met in WKU's 74-72 home loss on Feb. 9, 2010.

UC head coach John Brannen said Sunday that Houston took advantage of every one of the Bearcats' mistakes in the loss that dropped their record to 7-8.
