Cincinnati is getting a marijuana-themed sandwich "joint."
Cheba Hut will feature veggie and meat toasted subs, salads, appetizers called munchies, treats such as Rice Krispies and drinks that are sure to cure your cottonmouth, according to the website.
The weed puns don't stop. The sandwich names follow suit, such as the Chronic, a barbecue roast beef sandwich, and Kush, with bacon, lettuce and tomato. The "cottonmouth cure" drinks include fountain drinks, iced tea, Red Bull, Kool-Aid and local beers and spirits.
"Cheba Hut has been escaping the establishment and getting 'toasted' since its founding in 1998. The brand has broken the mold of mundane fast-casual concepts and set itself apart by becoming the first marijuana-themed sandwich 'joint' (pun intended)," a press release said.
Cheba Hut is a national chain with locations in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Wisconsin.
The Cincinnati location is opening on March 1 at 2614 Short Vine St. in Corryville.
