Can't wait to get the COVID-19 vaccine? "Saturday Night Live" has got a competition you might be interested in. This week's episode of the sketch show opened with a skit that saw Dr. Anthony Fauci (Kate McKinnon) host a game show called "So You Think You Can Get the Vaccine?" in which vaccine hopefuls pled their case for why they're worthy of the shot.The logic for rolling out the vaccine via game show? Well, as McKinnon's Fauci explained: "Americans will only want to get it if someone else can’t."Similar to other reality competitions, contestants had to earn the approval of three stern judges — Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom (Alex Moffat), New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (Pete Davidson) and Michigan Gov. "We genuinely have no idea.”After many contestants, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (Aidy Bryant), pled their cases, one grandpa (Mikey Day) finally earned approval from the politicians.
