Stephenson, Winker, Suarez among those reacting to Luis Castillo trade

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo (58) and Cincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson (37) share a laugh during a mound visit in the sixth inning of a baseball game against the St. Louis Cardinals, Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The St. Louis Cardinals won, 3-1.

For the second time in five months, the Cincinnati Reds made a rather earth-shattering trade with the Seattle Mariners, sending All-Star pitcher Luis Castillo to the American League playoff contender for two shortstop prospects and two right-handed pitching prospects.

The Reds said farewell to "La Piedra" via Twitter, and many national writers shared favorable assessments of the Reds' haul.
